Immobiliser Defeat

Most modern ECUs as standard have an advanced engine immobiliser function to prevent theft of your vehicle. If you wish to transplant a modern engine into another vehicle you will have to overcome these functions to achieve your aim.

With Custom-Code’s Immobiliser Defeat, you can continue to make use of the Stock ECU without the added cost and difficulty involved in such a conversion. Using this method the stock ECU will retain its safety parameters, and allow later FSI models to run the FSI setup. This is a much more cost-effective way than installing an aftermarket management system or the original donor vehicle’s instrument cluster and immobiliser components.
